Alyssa Galleshaw

Alyssa is a senior majoring in Psychology with a double minor in Spanish and Business Administration. Her research interests include addiction/substance abuse and mental illnesses, particularly in the prison system. She hopes to attend medical school in order to become a psychiatrist and help with the treatment and re-entry of inmates.

Rebecca Green

Rebecca is a junior majoring in both Psychology and Spanish. Her interests include mental health in minority populations, particularly in Hispanic families. After graduation, she plans to pursue a Ph.D. in psychology.

Rachel Haselow

Rachel is a sophomore majoring in Psychology with a minor in Criminology. She plans on earning a PhD in Psychology, with a concentration in Forensic Psychology. Her general interests include the application of Psychology in legal settings such as jury selection and mock trials.

Alexa Katon

Alexa is a fifth year senior pursuing a major in Nutrition Sciences with a double minor in Psychology and Forensic Science. She wishes to continue her academic career by obtaining a PhD in Psychology, concentrating in Forensic Science. She is especially interested in topics related to severe mental illness and how these impact the perpetration of unlawful acts.

Chelsea Knight

Chelsea is a senior majoring in psychology with a minor in forensic science. Her interests include mental health treatment and intervention in underprivileged adolescent populations. After graduation she plans to attend law school studying criminal law.

Sarah Mills

Sarah is a senior majoring in Psychology with a minor in Forensic Science. Her research interests include the relation of personality disorders to post traumatic stress/growth, forensic mental health assessment, substance use disorders, and improved treatment of psychopathology. Additionally she is interested in how to reduce the stigma of ex-offenders so they are better able to reintegrate into society, and how to shift the justice system’s preferred method of sentencing from incarceration to rehabilitation. Upon graduation, she plans to attend a Ph.D. or Psy.D. program in Clinical Psychology with a concentration in Forensic Psychology.

Also, be sure to showcase a premium service.Raven is a sophomore majoring in psychology, and intending to minor in forensic science and criminology. Her research interests include mental health/illness of military personnel and the role of mental health professionals in the criminal justice system. Upon graduation she intends to further her education of psychology through graduate school, focusing on forensic psychology.

Kaleb Rostmeyer

His previous research focused on treatment and recidivism among offenders suffering from mental health disorders. Currently, he is directing his research toward the psychology of terrorism. Upon graduation, Kaleb intends to pursue a Ph.D in Clinical Psychology.

Kylie Spencer

I am currently a junior majoring in both Psychology and Criminology with a double minor in Forensic Science and Anthropology. My research interests include examining the interaction between social and biological factors and their contribution to criminally deviant behaviors and motivations, the effect of the quality of treatment in prisons and prison culture on recidivism rates, and the link between psychopathy and criminal behavior. My education and career goals are to attend graduate school for either Criminology or Forensic Psychology and eventually work for the FBI as a Behavioral Analyst.
